Lego Unveils Life-Size James Bond Car

Lego combined its 90th anniversary with the 60th anniversary of the James Bond films. To mark the anniversary, the company has recreated a full-size 007 Aston Martin DB5 agent car. It is launched at the largest Lego store in Leicester Square, London. Hypebeast writes about it.

It took 1,366 hours (57 days) and 357,954 parts to create the car replica. The model weighs 1037 kilograms. With turn plates, detailed dashboard, working headlights and authentic steering wheel. The 298-piece miniature Aston Martin DB5 will be sold in Lego stores.

The car first appeared in the movie “Goldfinger”, which was released in 1964, then it was sold. The Aston Martin DB5 appeared in many subsequent films in the franchise and became one of the most recognizable models in cinema.

Earlier, Lego released a new collection of 3D postcards. It presents the main attractions of Paris, London, Beijing and New York. There are stickers, flags and badges.
